Learning opportunities that fit your needs

We’ve worked with our partners to develop a selection of leadership development opportunities for physicians, ranging from weekend-long Physician Leadership Institute (PLI) workshops, developed in partnership with the Canadian Medical Association (CMA), to the eight-month Physician Leadership Development Program (PLDP), which involves input from health-care stakeholders across the province. Physician Leadership Institute

We’ve partnered with the PLI (a division of the CMA) to curate quarterly program offerings for Nova Scotia’s physicians

Pick and choose the sessions that are most relevant to your interests or take them all. Topics for 2024 include inclusive leadership, building and leading teams, and strengths-based leadership. Each course is two days long and may be offered in person or online.

Physician Leadership Development Program

Following a comprehensive review, the association’s Physician Leadership Development Program (PLDP) is back and better than ever

Participants will enjoy a new and refreshed experience that focuses on inclusive leadership, adapting to a constantly changing health-care system, and leading and influencing people, teams and decision-makers. Learn in an accessible, hybrid environment.
