Collaborating to support your success
Doctors Nova Scotia has collaborated with the Physician Leadership Institute (PLI), a division of the Canadian Medical Association (CMA), to curate a selection of weekend-long leadership sessions specifically targeted at Nova Scotia physicians.
Physician Leadership Institute courses are designed especially for physicians. They have been delivered for 35 years and have a 98% participant satisfaction rate. The courses are also accredited by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the College of Family Physicians of Canada. Doctors Nova Scotia members benefit from a reduced registration rate – the association covers 60% of the program costs up front.
Upcoming courses
Doctors Nova Scotia offers four PLI courses per year, in a combination of online and in-person formats. Upcoming topics include building and leading teams, inclusive leadership and one other course (topic to be determined) for the early to mid-career leader. Stay tuned for registration information.
